Goji’s Neighbourhood Treatery is a Canada based sweet shop with several locations that offer treats ranging from ice cream, frozen yogurt, smoothies, cakes and more. Goji’s prides itself on excellence and wanted their redesign to reflect that. They liked the Carrera marble aesthetic and wanted to create that timeless appeal inside the treatery. After looking at different materials, Goji’s owner, Janette Zacharias, was introduced to the STUDIO Collection® design resin colour Calacatta Stone 1800 and said, “no other surface compared”.
STUDIO Collection® Calacatta Stone is a free flowing, natural design and truly encompasses the timeless, yet modern design they wanted to portray. Along with being a formable, hygienic, durable and non-porous surface, Janette Zacharias also said of Calacatta Stone 1800, “the materials wears well, is incredibly versatile and adaptable and will grow with us.” It is used throughout Goji’s for their serving counters, display cases and tabletops.
Each STUDIO Collection® design resin colour is artisan crafted to form unique patterns and designs using a mix of translucents and opaque polymers. The manufacturing process aligns with Goji’s core message: “our focus is on quality, small batch offerings.” Aristech Surfaces Territory Sales Manager, Susan Rayer, Aristech’s Regional Distributor, Marcel LeBlanc from Goodfellow and Bruno Arsenault from Foxwoods Millwork, understood Janette’s needs and worked with her team to deliver a high-quality product efficiently.
