Fredericton has become home to goji’s Frozen Yogurt - its sixth location in New Brunswick and fourteenth in Canada.
Doors opened on Saturday, May 14 at 1111 Regent Street.
“We’re very excited to be here,” says franchisee Li Lin, who also owns and operates the goji’s location in Dieppe, NB. ”Given the company was born in New Brunswick, it makes sense we opened up shop in the capital city.”
Co-founder and president Janette Zacharias is a Moncton native who says one of the many ways goji’s differentiate itself from the competition are the premium product offerings.
“We believe in ‘true food’,” she says. “Yogurt should come from a cow; fruit should be harvested from the earth and neither made in a lab.”
Each goji’s location has a wide range of flavours including lactose-free, Kosher, gluten-free, and no-sugar-added. Almond Milk, Coconut Milk, and Cashew Milk are popular among those with dietary restrictions or allergies.
“We’re very excited to become part of the Fredericton community,” says Zacharias,” We look forward to partnering with schools, sports teams, and non-profit groups as part of goji’s FUNraising program.”
